Hey folks,
While I try to figure out a way to know if the chatroom is active without having to log in, open the forum and log into the chatroom then minimize that window. Then open Internet explorer in a new window and browse the forum. If you turn your speaker on, you will hear a beep whenever someone logs in, out, or makes a post. Then all you have to do is browse between the two windows.
Also, when you log into the chat room, if you click on the list challels line on the right, you can chat in a particular forum channel.
