Got the new Nikon Coyote special mounted on the Nosler today. A set of Camo rings and I'm ready to go huntin with Mustang?????? :roll:

This thing has a great long tube on it for excellent eye relief. I am really impressed with the screw in anti-glare filter on the front lens. It has a side focus knob and a BDC reticle.

I'm glad you decided to post this because until I saw this I had no idea that Nosler even made rifles. I have never seen one but I am guessing that is because of the price tag. My guess is that most local gun shops wouldn't want to stock something like that just because they are afraid they would get stuck with it.

Is it a Rem 700 action or is it proprietary to Nosler.

It's a Nosler custom action but the scope base holes are drilled to accept a Rem 700 base. The action is far smoother than a Remington. The M48 sells for $2900 without the scope or mounts.

whoo if that ain't slick. what is the bolt/lug style? Mauser type?
