Good luck to all for the opening of bow season next Saturday. Big racks and big butt does in my hopes for y'all!

Same to you. I wish all of you guys good luck! I've debated buying a crossbow as I cannot use a compound any longer after the neck fusion last year and spinal stimulator. I have not been able to justify it in my mind though as I have no interest in shooting a velvet buck and the heat is just not worth it to me. It would be an ideal time to take some mature does so that they are not around during the breeding season. I encourage my guys to kill as many as possible during bow and muzzle loader season so there is a little more competition during the rut. Good Luck!

Lol, I'll do my best to weed a few out for ya. I don't gun hunt anymore, not much room left in this side of Onslow County, way too much development.
Early in season as it is (and yes, it's hot.) I usually put the big pressure on some does, thin the doe herd down, gets the Bucks chasing fewer does during the big season when the rut goes into effect.
I hunt bow all through gun season, so all you shooters out there, remember, deer can't get in a tree stand...it might be me!
