Howa has been making reliable and accurate rifles for years now. I believe the company that makes these rifles makes the Brownings now, at least they made the A-Bolt. Well for it's 2nd year in a row they have offered their Ranchland Compact Rifle. Rifle is 40" overall with a 20" barrel. They come in OD Green, Sand, Black, and now new for 2009 Kings Desert Shadow. Available calibers are .204 Ruger, .223 Rem, .22-250 Rem., .243 Win, .308 win, and 7mm-08 Rem. Available as a package with a Nikko-Sterling Scope in the same camo pattern. Rifle weighs 7 pounds without scope. Here are the pics. They seem like really nice rifles.

Where did you get the pictures of the camo? Who listed it? I looked on the Howa site and they don't list or show it, unless I missed it. I want to try and get one, but no-one has had one in stock.

It is in the downloadable catalog. Try looking at it there. Looks good to go.
