Anyone seeing any deer?

I haven't seen one yet...neither has my trail camera. We need these beans to get harvested and a good frost to come through.

I've seen 5 so far. Too early in the season for me to get in my "meat in the freezer" mode. Saw 3 does, a button buck, and a fawn so far. Still looking for some better hunting land to find a good swamp buck. My dad always said "big bucks always have wet feet"!

The area I'm hunting still has a bunch of soy bean fields planted so they aren't hurting for food. We need a good frost. Hopefully they'll be on my corn in the next couple of weeks.

From my experience, I'd get rid of the tripod feeder and put the corn on the ground.

Saw a really nice looking buck, coming off the base on Hwy 172 just outside the triangle post gate the other night... again, of course, it was 2am.
