I want to publish my kudo's to both Nosler and Alliant Powders. I KNOW that both Nosler and Hodgdon are supporters here, but knowing how wonderful ALL of the reloading companies are I dunno if anyone would mind. I shoot an older cartridge that has lost favor over the last 50 years. There is reloading data, but it is dissappearing quickly and what there is? Is in small amounts. It takes vast resources and quantities of time to put together these reloading books, so I understand. Factory is getting prohibitive in costs, so I have taken to reloading this wonderful cartridge. Unfortunately what powder I have isn't listed in the Nosler 5th Ed. Manual nor did Alliant Powders list the 150 gr bullet. So, I contacted them in hopes they might have had data.

Ladies and Gents? USE YOUR tech support! Even if the data is not listed! Nosler Customer Support was wonderful and had the answers when I called them. Alliant Powders answered via email. Both companies were very enthusiastic in helping you achieve what you are trying to do. I now have some more loads to try out since my initial loading, while would be OK, was lackluster. I have some 150gr Nosler BT's that will get worked up and shot in hopes of using this wonderful elderly cartridge this year!

Doghunter, how did the vote go?

I didn't get a seat. A little over 11,000 of nearly 90,000 registered voters showed up to vote. 13% of the county voters make the rules for everyone else! Unbelievable.

Creekdrifter? Am thinking that Doghunter got it right. But he knows I have one. The issue wasn't the cartridge, but how supportive these companies are to even the individual. Sure you can go to big shoots, shows, etc. and see the companies there and talk with the reps....but alot of what they do is the individual shooter. They know that it is shooters like you and I who make up the majority of people who use their products. And I wanted to personally thank them in this forum and in doing so hopefully some newbee who might need some help knows a place to go and not worry about someone looking down their nose at them.

Doghunter, if you ever run in Greene County, I'll vote for you!

Renegade, I too have used a bullet manufacturer's technical advice and services, and I agree with you 100%.
