well got the doctor a good payment on his next bmw, went to have stitches removed and got the results . all came back negitive so now tommorrow i will start gettin the old boat ready. need to install battery for the electric motor, fuel the tank, grease the bearings and fill the tank. then next take it out to the false pond and make sure the gas motor will run. note that i got all this done last year about the same time and when i unhooked it from the false pond i put it back in the shed and that is where it stayed all summer and winter, so this time i am going to leave it hooked up to my truck and maybe sometime get down to the black river and see if it will still float. was wanting to get down there to see if the redbreast were starting to move a little. well we will see .

I hope that everyone got to get out this weekend. Every single thing in life either wants your HARD EARNED money or your time or both! Volunteer here, give there, do this or do that, this deadline or that club or function or whatever. We have more light now due to Daylight Savings Time, but less time to do it in. We have to stop and question the direction everyone and everything is headed in. Things are spiraling downward. Its only been in the last 10-15 years we've had cell phones, internet, cable, satellite TV. What are your priorities? Only you know. So do we live to work or do we work to live? Sometimes you just have to say enuff is enuff! If we all stand up and say enuff is enuff then everyone will get the point!

So, I say fix the boat.....hitch it up, leave the cellphone at home (people were traveling the roads without one over 75 years), put the rods in the truck and GO FISHING! Coz if I ever get enuff money to get a decent one you can BET that I will be on the water....Roanoke, NE Cape Fear, Neuse or wherever. Bass, bream, crappie or cats.....rodding or jug lines (ok, no noodling for me....never put my hands places I can't see!)
