I just started building a ghillie suit, and here are a few pictures of the top. i used a set of woodland digital camo cami's and some old cami netting. i am using 15lb fishing string to sew this together, and will go back with shoe glue, have some burlap strips that will be tied on tomorrow, and i will start on the pants, and boonie cover. Maybe it'll be done for turkey season :)
this is after about an hour of working on it. still have a lot to do, but it's coming together nicely.
if anyone has any advice, please throw it out there. this is my first time doing this, and i'm just playing it by ear.

It looks cool, and i'm sure it will come out great. But it may be hot on long hunt's. Are you going to put any skid guard/plates on?

yea the weight on it is already adding up with the burlap. i've got some nylon digi flauge body bags for clothes that i am gonna cut up and place on the front of the pants and top may put some on the elbow area for crawling as well

Sounds good! If you get a chance you should post a "bush" with a shotgun picture when you get it all done.

I need to check this out when I get home. My computer at work doesn't show the pictures. Sounds pretty cool.
