It's time to respool those reels for the saltwater spring run. I'm getting my boat ready to go and can't wait to get out and get my lines wet. For those of you that havn't heard NC wildlife is now requiring that boaters 21 and under are required to take a boating safety course to operate a vessal unless they are with someone else above that age.
Will post what's hitting around the bouge inlet area after my trips.

I also scuba dive and I havn't seen any post post related to under water hunting. Grouper is one of my favorite fish making my mouth water just thinking about it. I'll post pack once the water warms up about what fish populations are looking like from what I see on my dives. Seems like the sand tiger population is booming because my last dive every corner of the wreck I turned there was one to greet me lol. Hunting under water is whole new ball game but is really enjoyable. Keep an eye out for the lion fish as their population in the area is on the rise and the could have a huge impact on our coastal eco system.

Last dive past fall was the Indra but I'm hoping to get out to the U352 once it warms up. It's just the bottom time is so short on the deeper wrecks.

I'm a Bass fisherman myself, and I'm waiting for the Fat Girls to start moving up!

The bass are beginning to bite really good in local lakes and rivers. I know if I am catching them while fishing for bream and crappie then they are biting. We have hooked several large ones within the last week. Also the big bluegills are moving into the shallows as well.

Offshore fishing is just starting to get good. Already booking a few trips. This is a vid from my first charter of 2010 last week when the weather let us out. I was fishing because one of the guys was already worn out. LOL
