Heading up there in about 2 weeks to see Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cableguy and wanted to check out some gun shops and/or outdoors stores while I was up there. Do any of you guys have any suggestions? Any to steer clear of? Thanks in advance.

Nice automag. You don't see those very often. What caliber is it?

Eagle One is a nice little shop and also has raleigh's only indoor range.

It's a .45 ACP longslide (7" in. barrel). Never had a 1911 with such a long barrel before and I gotta say, it's balance a ton better than I expected.

What a beaut. Do they have anymore?

I saw one recently at Mackey's Landing Firearms in Jamesville that had a short slide/barrel in .40 S&W and a short and a long slide/barrel in 10mm (I think it was about $1300-1400), but have seen anymore .45 AMT Hardballers (or longslide .45s of any make, for that matter).

BTW, I would love to have that one, but $1300 is quite a bit more than I think it is worth.
