This is the Mobile Calling Stand I built. I had an extra trailer I wasn't using so I thought this up. I can haul the ATV to a site on it and then pull it to a more remote area with it. The pole is used to erect the box. The trailer has adjustable outriggers for stability. I had to devise a plan to have an upstairs blind that would be high enough to hunt out of but be low enough to get under cable and power lines....thus the hinged lay-down feature of the "porta-potty". I shortened the height of the "potty" by 16 inches, reframed the floor (after gutting the interior), installed a fiberglas swivel chair, and cut three shooting windows, which I re-enforced with 3/4 EMT conduit running horizontally and then padded. I attempted to adhese some 1/4 inch strofoam insulation to the interior walls, below the shooting windows, yesterday, but it isn't meeting my expectations. I was trying to "deaden" the sound against the plastic walls.....from remotes, calls, binoculars, etc. The insulation is the only thing I have NOT been satified with . I wouldn't do anything else differently, that I have found yet....and I have used it several times.

Thanks,....A friend (farmer) I know had taken an old tobacco trailer and put a floor on the top and sat a chair and rigged up some posts to hold burlap. I saw this a year or so ago and thought it was a good idea, BUT to convert it to something to carry down roadways is a different set of thoughts. The clearance factor was my biggest concern. The "potty" was just nice, as it was a self contained blind, shooting rail, etc. I posted the pics with the intent to share the thoughts I had, and to perhaps get some gears turning....lol. I really admire the thought that people put into "good" ideas. I hope i can smell some smoke from your gears turning! LOLOL
