The Concealed Carry application that is currently on the Onslow County Sheriffs Website is no longer valid. You have to pick up your updated application directly from Mr. Moore at the Sheriffs office until he can get the site up to date.

at least you dont live in jones county
me and my brother(who resides in onslow county) turned in our app on the same day
he got his back in 6 weeks
i got mine back on the 89th day(they have 90 days approve or deny you)

Ya know..it's a funny deal. I guess it's all about where ya are. I had my CCW back in '91 issued in Utah, (I let it lapse.) I remember I went through the class, turned in all the paperwork, and I had it back in 30 days or so. I never should've let it lapse...ah well.

I`m the brother, Mr. Moore had to straighten out a couple of "marks/blemishes" from
20 years ago in New Jersey. My application kicked back twice in 6 weeks, but I got it.
