Preferred reticle?

What are your preferred reticle patterns, and why? To elaborate maybe, particular reticles for particular types of shooting. e.g., Big game, varmint, predators, target.

I use a BDC reticle for deer and predator hunting.

all i know is that i hunt with a 3x9 redfield illuminater so what ever it has is what prefer
im a idiot on a lotta things and this be one of them
ive hunted with the same rifle and same style scope(had to relace the original redfield when my rifle fell outa the truck) for the last 22 yrs
i guess im not one for change

I think that's the 30/30 IR reticle.

i like the ole standard multi x in the bushnell banner scopes i use,the finer the cross hairs the better!i have 4 of the banners in the 3x9x50 and there are no two the same thickness[if that makes sense].i have the thickest or heaviest ones on the slug gun,the next on the 308 handy rifle,and the 2 with the finer sets on my 243 and 30/06.

My favorite is the German #1. Leupold will put them in their scopes, but the top of the post is rounded more than I like. My favorite is found in the Trijicon Accupoints.
