View Full Version : Grilled Backstrap Fettucini Alfredo

1 deer backstrap
1lb Fettucini egg noodles
1 pint heavy cream
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 medium onion
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

Grill backstrap with your choice of seasonings on grill until medium rare. Remove and cut into bite sized cubes. Sautee onion and mushrooms in olive oil until caramelized while boiling noodles until done in salted water. Season sauteed onions and mushrooms with garlic salt and black pepper. Reduce heat and add heavy cream. While stirring, incorporate parmesan cheese until melted. Add cooked noodles and meat to the alfredo sauce mixture and cook on low for about 5 minutes. This will finish cooking the meat to a medium done texture. Serve with salad. Outstanding dish!

i take it this is not a diet plate!lol i make a strogannaugh[?]sometimes but this seems alot simpler. i'll give it a whirl,thanks doghunter.
