I have a Win 1300 3" and a Rem 870 3", both have short barrels I believe 21". What chokes would be recommended?
Are the 3" dead coyote rounds as effective as the 31/2" or do I have a good reason to get another gun?

An extra full choke will give you the best pattern at distance but you will have to experiment with shells to see what patterns best in your shotgun.

Catchy name but I would be willing to bet it is just another extra full turkey choke. Constriction is constriction but like I said you will have to find a load that your shotgun likes the best. I have an H&R Partner Pump that with a full choke tube and high brass #4 will roll a milk jug at 65 yards all day.
