Good points in that article. I use a Desantis pocket holster for my G27 and I also have a Safariland Kydex belt holster for it, that I use on occasion. I use the pocket holster in my inside jacket pocket and will use it in warm weather too while wearing pants with cargo pockets. It'll work in a regular pants pocket OK too, although the outline is visible, but because of the pocket holster it's not readily identifiable as a handgun. I use Safariland leather concealment holsters for my G21 and my Colt Trooper, but since I got the G27 I don't carry them off duty anymore. I was consdiering an ankle holster, but access problems convinced me not to go that route. I never have used an inside the waistband holster. I just don't think they're the thing for fat guys like me. Too uncomfortable.

When I had Glock 21s I used a Milt Sparks Summer Special IWB holster. Very good quality and performed very well. I will probably purchase one for the Glock 22 and the 1911 I have now.

Just a thought....Cheaper Than Dirt has some decent prices on holsters in this months' flyer that you guys may want to check out. Some inside the waistline holsters, etc.

Blackhawk and Uncle Mike's make Inside-the-pants holsters that are great CCW holsters. They're made out of a microfiber material and don't chafe or stick to your skin. Not to mention, they're only like $12.
