Went to Delaware for the last full week of Duck/Goose Season. We hunted four mornings and 1 afternoon with 3 guns. Final tally was 14 canadians/21 mallards/1 black duck. First day was the best with a total of 5 canadians and 12 mallards. Killed half in the morning and half in the afternoon. I ended up coming home with a black eye from shooting the 3 1/2 inch magnum out of the lay out blinds. I guess the gun was not completely in my shoulder for a shot or two(wow those ducks were fast). Just a note, we killed all the ducks out in the fields over mojo duck decoys in the goose spread.
The last morning we were picking up decoys and my buddy was retrieving his 4 wheeler from across the field when we had four geese come towards the spread. The other guy who was picking up decoys ran in the blind and uncased and loaded his shotgun as they were setting thier feet. Me and him dropped all four geese while my buddy watched from atop his 4 wheeler across the field. It was a great end to my final hunt of this season.
