I put a Nikon Pro Staff 3-9X40 Scope with BDC Reticle on it, a Limbsavers recoil pad, a Limbsavers Barrel De-Resonator, and a Field & Stream neoprene sling.

Do they make that in a .243? A guy at work bought one in 30/06 and loves his.

I don't think so, but they make it in .270

Sorry guys I didn't see the questions of where I got it. I got it at Walmart in Clayton for 80 bucks cheaper than at eastern outfitters where I was gonna buy it.

They do make one in .243 Win. They actually make one with a stock dipped in Mossy Oak Brush camo.

Well I got out there and sited in yesterday. After a box going threw her she is calming about quite a bit so next time she should be good. Although my second shot was dead center at 100 yds it was one of the first larger groups but still pretty cool. I will tell you one thing though it's a good thing I use the recoil pad and barrel de-resonator.

I just ordered a new rifle from the INTERNET. Remington 700 in .204 caliber. Simmons Atec 4x-14x scope. Can hardly wait till it gets here. Been shooting a .17 fireball Remington 700 with bull barrel. Hard to get it up a deer tower so unbalanced. A Fellow said I like that rifle will you sell it....yes I will.....so he bought it.
I think the .204 will be better for coyotes than the fireball.

I'd like to try the .17 Fireball. Although I believe you are right about the .204 being better. Overall that is. I think the .17 would be fine but the range would be much more limited.

ive got the same gun. great rifle for the price. i got mine at gander mountain in fayette-nam (fayetteville).
i put a 3x9x50 bsa scope and a camo sling on it. i shoot remington 180gr power shocks for deer.
i picked up a nice expandable camo shoting stick there too.
amazing strore.
you could get lost and in trouble there without proper supervision (momma).
it's best to go with a few buddies.
that gives you more people to share the blame and cooberate your lie...uh story.
