This is my AWESOME Christmas present from my husband! I haven't shot it yet but am dying too. Hopefully, this weekend I'll get it sighted in. He topped it with a nice Leupold VX-II 2-7x33 (w/Leupold dot reticle) for me.

let me load you up a few 50 grain V-MAX's for that puppy and it'll probably destroy Mustang's .204????????

Sounds like something we can hash out at a "turkey shoot".

Mossberg 500? Did it come with pink camo or is that aftermarket?

Angel223,
Have Dave carry that thing out to the range and let me measure the chamber. Of course you can bring it if you like. Although you are the "wife unit" I consider you an equal! I'll guarantee I can have it shootin sub MOA's with a few custom loads.

We're going to try to make it out to the range tomorrow afternoon. He's not allowed to take it out by himself...the last time he bought me a gun and then took it out without me he broke it. LOL That was 6 years ago and I will never let him live it down.

Well, I finally got out to the range on Sunday. Man, I LOVE this gun. I got it sited in at 100 yards and had a ball spending an afternoon on the range with my husband.

This summer we're going to get a different scope on it. The 2-7x33 is OK but a 3-9 or 4-12 would be a little better for shots over 100 yards.
