As I have posted before, I got mine from bush rag. It's fire, mildew, scent, and rot resistant.

I got my Ghillie! I will post some pics in a little! I like it. Should work great in the spring. A little to green for a lot of places right now but maybe in the thick areas or on the edges of wood lines it will work.

I'll say this much for you, you might not kill any predators with that thing on but you could dang sure scare the heck out of some people with it!

I wish I would have known you guys back when I was making ghillie suits, After graduating Scout Sniper school my wife and I used to make them from our apartment in Vista and sell them to marines on base. After I got out I sold them all over michigan, but I just don't have the time these days with the kids hockey and what not, I'll try to dig out some pictures of my old ones. To be 100% factual the suits you are buying are truely called yehti suits, the big companies have chosen to use the Ghillie name because it is more recognized. A real Ghillie has a snake belly made from reinforced canvas and is padded in the elbows, knees and chest for creeping.

I was going to make one like that but it didn't really fit my need though. I didn't see myself creeping around on my belly all that much. How was sniper school though? Did you enjoy it? Or was it no fun?

It pretty much sucked. There were some cool times but for the most part it is the most difficult thing I have ever done.
